| Hello there! Um... anyone there??? It's me, Jen! I've been insanely busy over the last couple of years with the new job and the getting married and all so I haven't blogged here. It's been so long that I couldn't figure out how to add a post! In addtion, I've discovered blogger and never looked back. The customization and ease of use without all the crazy high school myspace-y type stuff seems like the best fit for me. If anyone still reads this, visit my new blog by clicking the banner below:
(yes we are in the UA fountain) This blog is basically my personal/design&decor/whatever blog. It basically covers my personal interests (photography, decor, TV, movies, books...etc.) without being a 'whining about my life' type blog (at least I hope it won't be like that). I'm having a lot of fun with it! Below is my wedding blog. Since I really didn't have a lot of time to post during the planning craziness, I'm trying to catch up now. I foresee much more posting on this after my Sept 15 deadline:
Hope to see you around the blogosphere! Jen Edit: If anyone else who has jumped the xanga ship has a new blog somewhere please comment on ataleof2monkeys and let me know so I can keep up with you!! | | |
| All I have to say is Superbowl = way too much traffic. This has been a really bad week for me to be commuting to a client in Scottsdale.... But a good weekend to get out of Phoenix and go skiiing! And that is my first post in a really long time... very pathetic | | |
| We saw the smoke from this today while having a lunch and learn educational event in the north-facing conference room with our interns. http://edition.cnn.com/2007/US/07/27/helicopter.crash/?iref=mpstoryview We didn't even find out what it was until later. Why do people run from the police? My sympathies go out to the familes of the four who were killed. | | |
| Taking the CPA exam on Sunday stinks because then I don't get a weekend. It's worse than working all weekend because the stress level is astronomically higher when taking a 4.5 hour exam and I spent all day Saturday holed up here in a conference room studying. Then taking Mike to the airport this morning at 5 did not help... so now it's not even 1 and I've hit my wall. I'm even blogging and I never blog anymore. I took the interns out to lunch today and I was so boring. I am totally blocked conversationally when I'm tired. I'm also a bit bummed. Mike left and won't be back until Friday night. Silly Boeing training in Virginia! I didn't get to go the Harry Potter Party in p-town at the Barnes & Noble my aunt manages. Normally I would be done with the book by now. Silly CPA exam. I also feel a bit dumb because I replied to an email Meghan wrote from Mike's email address... I'm sure she was confused by that. Whoops. That's what happens when he uses my computer! (she sent it to me too - just so everyone doesn't think I replied to a private email). She drew a really funny cartoon where Harry finds Horcruxes hidden in bananas and sandwiches and playboy magazine. Silly Voldemort. Oh well, I should probably do some work now! I'm counting down the days until Lunch with my mom and tubing this weekend. Should be fun. | | |
| ...when you finish a complicated return and everything balances with minimal hangups and little or no error and you think "hey, I just might be good at my job after all"... | | |
